Research position ยป Available 1099 research positions

We have a few part time positions for researchers.

These are work at home positions finding tax sale lists for us and sending them to us. Each position will cover a specific geographic area and the individual will be paid on a per list basis. The individual should have good internet skills, be able to work during normal business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm) as that is when the offices of the taxing authorities are open. The hours per week will vary by territory but should average about 10 to 20 hours per week. Some territories will require 20 to 30 hours a week for a period of two weeks or so, for those states that have their sales at a specific time each year.

We will pay a set amount per list that arrives at our offices in Colorado with a bonus for those who acquire 95% of all lists in the territory. The amount paid will include the costs of acquiring and sending the lists to us. The individuals picked will be expected to get a long distance phone package that is less than $30 per month (there are several available) and we will pay that expense. The individuals will be 1099 positions and be expected to work with little supervision other than measurement of results.

The territories are as follows:

• Northwest: Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah and Montana (363 counties all annual sales) (we estimate 120 hours per year)

• Midwest South: Colorado, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa and Missouri (553 counties most annual sales) (we estimate 182 hours per year)

• Midwest North: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana and Illinois (436 counties some multiple sales) (we estimate 145 hours per year)

• Central South: Kentucky, Tennessee, Virginia and North Carolina (580 counties – TN, VA, KY have more than one sale each year) (we estimate 193 hours per year)

• South: Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Louisiana (709 counties – GA has monthly sales) (we estimate 236 hours per year)

• Central East: West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware and New York (425 estimated sales) (we estimate 141 hours per year)

• East North: Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. (over 1,000 estimated sales) (we estimate 350 hours per year)

Some lists can be acquired from the internet but most will have to be acquired from the taxing jurisdiction or the newspaper. We expect all lists to be delivered at least ten days prior to the sale and in most cases 14 days prior to the sale.

It is possible that one individual can cover more than one jurisdiction, with the exception of the East North, where most sales are done at the town or city level, rather than the county level. The applicant, again, will have good work habits, good internet research skills, and be a self starter.

If you have interest in applying for one or more of these territories, send an email to posiiton@taxsalelists.com the applicants accepted will, in most cases, be expected to start immediately. Every territory has sales in the next month or so.
